Honestly, this may be the best banana bread in existence. I will admit it’s not my own recipe. Nor was it handed down by my great grandmother. I will also admit I’m not a fan of banana bread, that is, until now. I’ve searched through several recipes before this one fell into my hot little hands. Yes I made a few adjustments to enhance flavors, boy did it pay off! The caramelized candied pecans, that I make in house, add so much depth to this bread.
